The Samaritan Women at the Well are at it again! In May 2014, they assumed management of "The Well" apartment complex (formerly Timothy Street Apartments) in Texas City. They are using the property for graduates of the SWATW one-year program. The goal is for tenants to be provided with continued ministering in a positive environment.

In order for their dream to come to life, they needed plenty of help! Guaranteed Roofing & Remodeling supplied the SWATW with our lead carpenter as well as several skilled craftsmen. We teamed up with local businesses and completed over $35,000 worth of FREE repairs!

In the 15 unit complex, we completed numerous projects including:
Installed peep holes in all doors
Re-textured and painted walls
Kitchen cabinets
Replaced old and missing floor tiles
Replaced broken window panels
Installed new base boards
Re-tiled kitchen counter tops
Sealed interior and exterior holes in walls
Replaced rotted wood
Re-screened porch screen doors
Extensive plumbing repairs
Tub and tile repairs

On Saturday, August 16th, we rallied together more than 65 volunteers from the community and repainted the ENTIRE exterior of the apartment homes.

We had an AMAZING turn out, gave away some great prizes, and made a major impact on the lives of these women and children that needed our help.

From all of us here at Guaranteed Roofing, we want to thank all our volunteers for coming out and donating your valuable time with us improving the lives of others! We could not have done this without you!

"Those who can, do.
Those who can do more, volunteer."

Our Veteran project was a total success!

We teamed up with Texas New Mexico Power to replace the roof of a local veteran in need. Mr. Henderson Johnson, 72, served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962-1966. He was born and raised in Texas City, Texas. Until recently, Mr. Johnson has had to fight to avoid water drops coming into his home every time it rained. We were able to combine our efforts with donations from local companies to make this home a dream come true for him! Funds/materials were donated by TNMP, Bohn's Building Materials, Southern Shingles, and Hoffman Lumber of Texas City. We are very proud and fortunate to be a part of a charitable project, and we are even more proud to see our community come together to help a local hero!

Special thanks to Diana Vazquez with TNMP. Without your help, none of this would be possible!
